Because both the enactment and the lack of enactment of any kind of behavior represents a motivated act, one can address the importance of people's motivation in any life domain, including scholing and education, unemployment and work, social, health and psychological care, and sport and exercise. Through interactive presentations or workshops, the basic principles of Self-Determination Theory are explained. Both the different types of motives that underly people's behavior as well as the way the environment affects people motivation are addressed.
